Request for sexuality education programmes and tools

Date:
26/05/2017 - 09:36

The Expert Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Education of the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health (ESC) wants to update its web library.

The aim is to make programmes and tools available for people involved in sexuality education who are looking for reliable information and materials:

  • formal and informal education (curriculums, manuals, guidelines),
  • online tools (including e-learning platforms, mobile apps, webinars),
  • other complementary materials (students’ workbooks, teaching tools, interactive games, fact sheets, info graphics, brochures).

If you have access to materials for the following groups: preschool children, primary school students, high school students, most-at-risk adolescents and young people, university students, children with disabilities (physical, learning and etc.), LGBT, migrants, teachers/educators, parents and religious adolescents, these would be very welcome.

We would like to gather as many links as possible in all the different languages of Europe. As we only speak a limited amount of languages, it would be necessary for you to check whether the programme is of good quality. All kinds of material would be welcome, also of small local NGO’s, as long as they meet these requirements. Materials from or sponsored by (pharmaceutical) companies should be avoided.

If you have contacts with other people or organisations who would be knowledgeable in this field, please forward this message to them.

It would be very helpful if you would add a small description of the material with an indication for what group the material is targeted, especially if there is no English translation available.

Please send all links to nancy.habils@escrh.eu
