I am pleased to invite you to the First International Symposium from the “Knowledge for Life” series, "Avoiding Unwanted Pregnancies.“
“Man has a choice, and it’s a choice that makes him a man.”
This Symposium is dedicated to addressing the global public health problem of unwanted pregnancies by convening experts involved with this issue to engage in lively discussion, develop conclusions, and propose guidelines for further action in terms of counseling and education about responsible sexual behavior.
Important topics of discussion during the Symposium include controversies regarding: laws regarding termination of unwanted pregnancies, consequences of terminating unwanted pregnancies on women’s general, mental and reproductive health, ”pro et contra” contraception, and the role of gynecologists, media, and society in educating about responsible sexual behavior.
The Symposium, supported by the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive (ESC), and endorsed by national scientific and professional associations, will be held in Zagreb from 29-30 May 2015.
