Conference badges should be worn by all participants at all times during the conference and while visiting the exhibition area. No badge, no entry.


In May the temperature will begin to warm up and get sunnier. However, frequent overcast skies keep the temperatures at moderate levels. The average daily temperature is 16°C.

CME credits

The 15th ESC Congress has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 20 European CME credits.


The currency in Hungary is the Forint (1.00 EUR = +- 312 HUF). All conference fees and rates are charged in Euro only.


The electric current used throughout Hungary is 230 volts AC, 50 cycles (continental European standard).

Insurance liability

ESC does not accept liability for individual medical, travel or personal insurance and participants are strongly advised to take out their own personal insurance policies in their country of origin.


The congress language is English.

Local time

Hungary is part of the Central European Time Zone (CET) +2.


Lunch can be ordered through the registration form at 20 euro per day for Thursday (10 May) and Friday (11 May).


Normally 10-15% is customary in taxis, restaurants and bars.
