4th Congress of the International Society for Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology, ISIDOG, to be held between 14th and 17th October, 2021 in Budapest, Hungary.
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the upcoming 4th Congress of the International Society for Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology, ISIDOG, to be held between 14th and 17th October, 2021 in Budapest, Hungary.
Due to the challenges of the global Sars-COV-2 pandemic and the still unknown proportion of vaccinated percentage by the time of our scheduled meeting, new methods of organization of our congress had to be introduced. Thus, a hybrid meeting will be organized with members of the Board of ISIDOG on site, and those having interest in the magic world of infectious diseases in obstetrics and gynecology either in person in Budapest or in front of the screens. Certainly, this novel frame of meeting needs a great deal of openness and flexibility from both participants and organizers in order not to miss the regular scientific platform to discuss new challenges in our field. Also the continued and unconditional support of our sponsors is crucial and most welcome. The structure of the conference is based on our familiar structure with a pre-congress National Day on 14th October held in Hungarian, followed by two days of the core ISIDOG meeting. On day 2 and 3 plenary sessions by invited speakers, lunch symposia, free communication and poster session will be presented. On Sunday an extremely exciting Science-Meets the Industry meeting will be organized.
What else could be the main topic of the 4th ISIDOG Congress in 2021 than Sars-COV-2 infections before, during and after pregnancy?
Additional topics include diagnosis and treatment of lower genital tract infections, role of non-antibiotic treatment of vaginal disorders, an update on Candida vaginitis, sexually transmitted viral and bacterial infections and latest data on HPV vaccination.
Pharma industry will find a wide spectrum of communication with the congress participants via online tools including short films, videos and web links to their new products and procedures. In addition, round table discussions for new drugs, antibiotics and novel treatment protocols as well as diagnostic methods will also be available.
On behalf of the Board of ISIDOG and the Hungarian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as local organizer we truly hope that old and new friends of infectious diseases in obstetrics and gynecology will be motivated and enthusiastic to find a new occasion for get together and discuss latest data for the sake of women’s health.
Look forward to greeting you in Budapest,
