Rejection draft bill & letter from ESC to the Members of the National Council of the Slovak Republic

28 October 2021 – Together with FIAPAC, the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health sent a letter to the Members of the National Council of the Slovak Republic with respect to the Draft Law on assistance to pregnant women (Print 665, 31.08.2021). Read the letter here

European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health (ESC) expresses her deep concern regarding the Draft Law on assistance to pregnant women (Print 665,31.08.2021) that is currently being discussed by the Slovak Parliament. ESC respectfully urges members of the Slovak parliament to reject these restrictive legislative proposals and any other proposals that could impede women’s timely access to safe abortion care, jeopardize their health and undermine their human rights.
